PEMA DESIGN:
In its sixth year of business in Fernie, produces made-to-order pillows, cushions, and yoga supports in a variety of sizes, shapes and colours. The most popular products are buckwheat hull sleep pillows, famous for providing good, adjustable neck support, and meditation cushions in traditional Japanese design. Although its customer base comes from online orders, Pema Design supplies an ever-growing number of yoga studios, schools, retreat centres, and clinics locally and nationwide.

While local and regional recognition is growing, Pema Design's owner, Mary Cosman, continues to work on plans to open a small retail space in Fernie to better serve local customers. Meanwhile, her home-based Studio is open for business, by appointment.
